- 1 whole chicken Herb Roasted Chicken
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Fresh rosemary
- 2 tablespoons Fresh thyme
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Salt

- 4 cups Mixed vegetables (carrots, potatoes, green beans)
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 whole Apple pie
- 2 scoops Vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the herb mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin as well.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and surround it with mixed vegetables.
- Dot the vegetables with butter and sprinkle brown sugar over them.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the chicken is roasting, prepare the apple pie according to package instructions or your favorite recipe.
- Serve the roasted chicken with vegetables and apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
