- 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or chocolate melting wafers
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)
- Sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
- If desired, immediately sprinkle the strawberries with sprinkles or chopped nuts before the chocolate sets.
- Once all strawberries are dipped, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate is firm.
- Serve chilled and enjoy the perfect Mother’s Day treat!
Notes
- Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping to ensure the chocolate adheres properly.
