- 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 ounces white chocolate, chopped (optional, for drizzling)
- Sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds of the berry.
- Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place the strawberry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- If desired, melt the white chocolate in a similar manner, then drizzle over the chocolate-covered strawberries or dip some strawberries into it.
- Sprinkle with sprinkles or chopped nuts before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
- Serve on a beautiful platter for Mother’s Day or package them as a gift.
Notes
- Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to ensure the chocolate adheres properly.
