  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refried beans

  • for garnish chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning to the beef and follow package instructions, typically adding water and simmering until thickened.
  4. On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.
  5. Spread refried beans over the chips, then top with the seasoned ground beef.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the beef and chips.
  7. Add jalapeños on top of the cheese according to your heat preference.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with sliced olives and chopped green onions.
  10. Serve hot with sour cream and guacamole on the side.
