- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter

Instructions
- Combine sugar, cocoa powder, and milk in a saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla extract.
- Beat the mixture until it thickens.
- Add nuts if desired, and pour into a greased dish.
- Let it cool before cutting into squares.
