Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Season scallops with salt and pepper.
- Add scallops to the pan, leaving space between each.
- Sear scallops for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip scallops and add butter to the pan.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.

- Do not overcrowd the pan.
