- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for better flavor.
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2 minutes.
- Serve with a side of lemon wedges or marinara sauce.
