Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add ground chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil.
  5. Add water chestnuts and green onions. Cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves and serve.

  • Use iceberg lettuce if butter lettuce is unavailable.
