- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1 cup of hummus
- 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 cup of mixed greens
- 1/2 cup of feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup of grapes
- 1/2 pound of deli turkey or chicken
- 1/2 cup of olives
- 1 quart of water or lemonade
Instructions
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread hummus on both sides.
- Layer the mixed greens, turkey or chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and feta cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
- Top with the other half of the bread and press down gently.
- Cut the sandwich into individual servings and pack in a container.
- Wash and pack grapes and olives in separate containers.
- Bring along water or lemonade in a cooler for a refreshing drink.
