Description

A simple recipe for pigs in a blanket using Pillsbury dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of Pillsbury crescent roll dough
  • 12 hot dogs
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. If using, place a small amount of cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Place a hot dog on top of the cheese (if using) and roll it up tightly.
  5. Place the rolled pigs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each pig in a blanket.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
