Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the marinade, coating evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread chicken, pineapple, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating pieces.
  6. Grill kabobs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use canned pineapple if fresh is unavailable.
  • For extra flavor, brush leftover marinade on the kabobs while grilling.
