Description
These no-bake protein energy balls are the perfect quick snack that packs a punch of energy and taste. Easy to make and customizable with your favorite ingredients!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or dried fruit
- 1/4 cup chia seeds or flaxseeds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract if using.
- Mix until well combined. The mixture should be sticky but hold together. If it’s too dry, add a bit more nut butter or honey.
- Fold in chocolate chips or dried fruit and chia seeds or flaxseeds.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- Once chilled, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls.
- Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the recipe by adding nuts, seeds, or other mix-ins like coconut flakes.
- For a vegan version, use maple syrup instead of honey and a plant-based protein powder.
