Delicious pumpkin cinnamon rolls with a creamy frosting.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 packet yeast
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg to the yeast mixture.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
- Let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough and spread with butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese for frosting.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can substitute pumpkin puree with sweet potato puree.
