- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Add Italian seasoning and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chicken is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
