- 1 rib roast (5–7 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Rub the rib roast with olive oil.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- Coat the rib roast evenly with the spice mixture.
- Place the rib roast in the smoker.
- Smoke for about 4-5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
- Remove from smoker and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on desired doneness.
- Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
- Let the meat come to room temperature before smoking.
