- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix bread cubes, onion, celery, butter, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Add chicken broth and stir until moistened.
- Stuff the chicken cavity with the mixture.
- Place chicken in a roasting pan and cook for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before carving.
