Description
A quick and flavorful dish combining tender roasted steak and crispy gnocchi in a stir fry.
Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 lb (450g) gnocchi
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss gnocchi with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over high heat. Add steak slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté bell pepper and onion for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Return steak to the pan. Add soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
- Mix in roasted gnocchi. Cook for another 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Use pre-cooked gnocchi for faster preparation.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
- Substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan option.
