Description

A quick and flavorful dish combining tender roasted steak and crispy gnocchi in a stir fry.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb (450g) gnocchi
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss gnocchi with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over high heat. Add steak slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté bell pepper and onion for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Return steak to the pan. Add soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
  5. Mix in roasted gnocchi. Cook for another 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.

  • Use pre-cooked gnocchi for faster preparation.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
  • Substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan option.
