Description
Pan-seared salmon fillets topped with a rich lemon garlic butter sauce. This simple recipe creates tender, flaky fish with a bright, buttery sauce in under 20 minutes.

- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place salmon skin-side up and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden.
- Flip salmon and cook another 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Remove from pan.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same pan.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return salmon to pan and spoon sauce over fillets.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor
- Don’t overcook the salmon to keep it moist
- Remove salmon skin before cooking if preferred
- Double the sauce ingredients if you want extra for serving
