Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon skin-side up and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden.
  4. Flip salmon and cook another 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Remove from pan.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same pan.
  6. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Return salmon to pan and spoon sauce over fillets.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
