Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Add cooked sausage back to the skillet and mix well.
  7. Toss in cooked pasta and stir until coated.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
