- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add cooked sausage back to the skillet and mix well.
- Toss in cooked pasta and stir until coated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use high-quality Parmesan for best flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
