Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides of the scallops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the scallops to the skillet in a single layer.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown on one side.
- Flip the scallops and add butter to the skillet.
- Cook for another 2 minutes until opaque.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Use dry scallops for better searing.
- Do not overcrowd the skillet.
