- 1 cup semolina
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and gradually whisk in the semolina, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Add sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted and combined.
- Pour the semolina mixture into serving dishes and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Top each serving with raspberry jam before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can substitute half of the milk with cream.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste.
- You can also use other types of jam if raspberry is not available.
