Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, carrots, and garlic. Cook until vegetables soften.
  4. Stir in peas, tomato paste, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat mixture.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until the top is golden.
