Description

A classic shrimp boil loaded with flavor, combining shrimp, potatoes, corn, and spices for a perfect seafood feast.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound small red potatoes, halved
  • 4 ears corn, cut into thirds
  • 1/2 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 4 quarts water
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are tender.
  3. Add corn and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in Old Bay seasoning, lemon, garlic, and onion.
  5. Finally, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they are pink and opaque.
  6. Drain the pot and pour the mixture onto a large serving platter.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
