Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 9 oz cheese tortellini
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest. Stir well.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and add cooked tortellini. Toss to coat.
  8. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
