Description

A simple and delicious way to enjoy cauliflower as a main dish. These cauliflower cheese steaks are flavorful, easy to make, and perfect for a vegetarian meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. Brush both sides of each steak with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
  6. Flip the steaks, top with cheddar and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2 minutes.
