Ingredients

- 1 (12 oz) ribeye steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
- Rub the steak with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
- Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steak and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
- Spoon the cowboy butter over the steak before serving.
