Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs rib steak, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sear the steak slices until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic until softened.
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, black pepper, ginger, and beef broth in a bowl.
- Combine steak, vegetables, and sauce in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until steak is tender.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra heat, add chili flakes.
- Thicken sauce with more cornstarch if needed.
- Use flank steak as an alternative.
