Description
A tender and flavorful beef roast cooked slowly to perfection in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 3 lbs beef roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Place onions, carrots, and potatoes in the slow cooker.
- Season beef roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
- Place beef roast on top of vegetables.
- Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Remove roast and vegetables, slice beef, and serve.
Notes
- Use a chuck roast for best results.
- Add more vegetables if desired.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
