- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
- 2 tablespoons water (optional for thickening)
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Optional: Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes.
- Serve with rice or steamed vegetables.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
