- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Add pineapple chunks with juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Top with bell pepper and onion.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
- Shred chicken and mix with sauce before serving.
Notes
- Serve over rice or noodles.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Can use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
