  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 ounces spaghetti, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir well.
  3. Break spaghetti into pieces and layer on top of the sauce mixture. Press down slightly to submerge.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until spaghetti is tender.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes until cheese melts.
