Description
This smoky grilled Caesar salad adds a delicious twist to the classic with charred romaine and crispy Parmesan chips.
Ingredients

- 2 heads of romaine lettuce, halved lengthwise
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form small circles of the Parmesan mixture and bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool to harden.
- Place the halved romaine on the grill, cut side down, and grill for 2-3 minutes until slightly charred.
- Remove the romaine from the grill and drizzle with Caesar dressing.
- Top with the Parmesan crisps and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the romaine in Caesar dressing for 30 minutes before grilling.
- You can also add grilled chicken or shrimp for a heartier meal.
