- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Additional powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually add flour, nuts, and salt. Mix until combined.
- Form the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly, then roll them in powdered sugar.
- Let them cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again if desired.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- They can be made ahead and freeze well.
