- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix sourdough starter and butter until smooth.
- Add brown sugar and granulated sugar; mix well.
- Stir in egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; stir until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For chewier cookies, refrigerate dough for 30 minutes before baking.
