Quick and easy sourdough cinnamon rolls that are soft and delicious.

- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix sourdough starter, milk, sugar, melted butter, and egg.
- Add flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix until combined.
- Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread brown sugar and raisins on top of the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Cut into 1-inch pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use active sourdough starter for best results.
- Adjust sugar according to your taste.
- Can add nuts for extra crunch.
