Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup active sourdough starter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the sourdough starter, milk, and sugar.
- Add the softened butter, egg, and salt, then stir until combined.
- Gradually add the flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes.
- Let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread brown sugar and cinnamon over the dough.
- Add raisins if desired.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another hour.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow to cool before glazing.
