- 8 cups sourdough bread, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place the cubed sourdough bread in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring it is well soaked.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Before baking, drizzle maple syrup on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.

- Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
