Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until fully cooked and crispy.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end.
  • Adjust the amount of gochujang and red pepper flakes to control the spiciness.
  • Serve with steamed rice and kimchi for a complete meal.
