- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup chocolate or black icing for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the sugar and mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream until smooth.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust in the baking pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature.
- Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
- Before serving, use a piping bag to create a spider web design on top with chocolate or black icing.
