Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 oz mozzarella, cut into small cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, spinach, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into small balls, pressing a mozzarella cube into the center of each.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides.
- Transfer meatballs to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
Notes
- Use fresh spinach for best flavor.
- Do not overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender.
- Check internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
