Description
A delicious homemade version of Starbucks banana bread.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mix the mashed bananas with melted butter.
- Add baking soda and salt to the mixture.
- Stir in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix in the flour until just combined.
- If using, fold in walnuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for better flavor.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- This bread freezes well; wrap it tightly to freeze.
