Description

A delicious and hearty meal featuring steak and shrimp topped with a rich mushroom cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (your choice of cut)
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook steak to desired doneness, then set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic and mushrooms until soft.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer until sauce thickens.
  6. Slice steak and serve with shrimp and mushroom cream sauce.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or add a bit of flour.
