- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the steaks, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overlapping.
- Cook the steaks for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking. Adjust the cooking time based on your preferred level of doneness.
- Once done, remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.
Notes
- For best results, use steaks that are at least 1 inch thick.
- Letting the steak rest after cooking helps retain its juices.
