Description

Perfectly cooked steak with a crispy exterior and juicy interior using your air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks (or your choice of steak)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the steaks, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overlapping.
  5. Cook the steaks for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking. Adjust the cooking time based on your preferred level of doneness.
  6. Once done, remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.

Notes

  • For best results, use steaks that are at least 1 inch thick.
  • Letting the steak rest after cooking helps retain its juices.
