- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place wings on it. Bake for 25 minutes.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into sauce. Cook until thickened.
- Toss baked wings in the sauce. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- For crispier wings, broil for the last 2 minutes.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or sugar.
- Marinate wings in half the sauce for extra flavor.
