- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Strawberry jam for filling
- Powdered sugar for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet and quickly swirl to coat the bottom evenly.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift, then flip and cook for an additional 1 minute on the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the cooked crepes on a plate.
- To serve, spread a layer of strawberry jam on one half of each crepe, fold it over, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
