Description
A classic surf and turf recipe combining steak and seafood.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ribeye steak
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steak and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and the garlic.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.
- Add butter and stir until melted.
- Slice the steak and serve with shrimp and lemon wedges.

- Adjust cooking time based on desired steak doneness.
- Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
- Pair with a side salad or vegetables.
