Description

A classic surf and turf recipe combining steak and seafood.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye steak
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steak and let it rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and the garlic.
  6. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.
  7. Add butter and stir until melted.
  8. Slice the steak and serve with shrimp and lemon wedges.
