Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and five-spice powder.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, reserving the marinade.
  4. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  5. Pour the reserved marinade into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Brush the glaze over the chicken and serve hot.
