Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, steam the broccoli until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. To serve, place cooked rice in bowls, top with sliced chicken, steamed broccoli, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
