Description
A delicious and healthy Teriyaki Salmon Bowl recipe that combines tender salmon with fresh vegetables and fluffy rice, all drizzled with a homemade teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, marinate the salmon fillets in teriyaki sauce for at least 15 minutes.
- While the salmon is marinating, prepare the rice according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add the broccoli, snap peas, and carrots. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- To serve, place a scoop of rice in each bowl. Top with sautéed vegetables and a salmon fillet.
- Drizzle with additional teriyaki sauce, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference or seasonal availability.
- For a spicier kick, add some sriracha or chili flakes to the teriyaki sauce.
