- 4–5 lbs beef brisket
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the brisket.
- Place the brisket in a roasting pan fat side up.
- Pour beef broth into the pan.
- Cover tightly with foil.
- Bake for 6 hours or until tender.
- Let rest for 30 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (195-205°F).
- Slice against the grain for tenderness.
- Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days.
